How it works
How your donation is handled.
Donations are sent by Interac e-Transfer from your own bank. This website takes no payment and never asks for card or banking details.
- You send the money from your own bank.Tell us your name, email and the amount you intend to give. You will see Tabono’s e-Transfer details and a reference number straight away, and we email them to you as well. Then send the transfer from your own bank, with the reference in the message.
- Tabono never asks for card or banking details.This website takes no payment. We keep only your name, email, the amount you intend to give and your reference, so we can match your transfer and keep an accurate record of community support.
- Your reference is how we match your gift.Put it in the transfer’s message. Tabono staff check incoming deposits against each reference before a gift is recorded as received.
- Your gift can be acknowledged after verification.Staff can issue a printable acknowledgement after checking the funds received. Tabono is not able to issue charitable tax receipts. An acknowledgement documents your contribution.
